Do You Trust Your Doctor 100 Percent (Part 2)

LifestyleHealth, Sports & Fitness

This is a continuation of part one.   Here are a few most frequently heard statements from friends when I ask them about where they get their source of health information,"I don't need to read more on health online, I can get the information from CDC, WHO, AMA or ADA."

"I get all my news from the Straits Times or Herald Tribune, etc."

"If it's important, you'll catch it on TV or via radio."

Dr. Mercola once expressed his surprise,"Isn't it odd that some doctors are reading more than Head of Departments (HOD)?  Even odder that HODs know NOTHING more than the conventional treatments taught?"

Dr. Mercola revealed that his interactions with one HOD of a hospital had said he is too busy to read more than 4 medical journals a year.  I presume the journals the HOD referred to are like the ones published by ADA and AMA.

Midterm Swine Flu Report: Boosting Immunity Naturally Part 2

In Singapore, the H95 masks are over-rated.  Because it does not boost your immunity towards viral infections.

[ Jump to Current Swine Flu News (May 7th 2009) (least important!) :: Kindergarten Preschoolers Advise ::The Advise You Don't see on CDC or WHO (more important!) :: How to choose your wife Organic Life-Saver (Immunity-Boosters) ]

The Advise You Don't See on Sites like CDC or WHO:

1. Sun yourself by having a 5 to 10-minute walk in the park (in the day of course). Even on a cloudy day some sun will help your body manufacture its own Vitamin D, which is crucial in helping your body assimiliate calcium and magnesium (they're a team!)

For those who remain indoors a lot may lack Vitamin D.  BabyDdrops may be the answer to alternate vitamin D (I will be covering more on this - the advantages and 'disadvantages' of using BabyDdrops - in another blog entry!)

2. Continue having a healthy supply of Omega-3 oils which promotes cardiovascular (heart) & joint health. The best source for Omega-3 oils are from shrimp-like crustaceans from the Antarctic - like the Krill

Swine Flu: Get to the Swine of the Matter

By the way, this is a pretty loooooong blog entry so be sure to bookmark it and return later. Or just PRINT this to read offline! [Jump to The Swine Flu Discrepancy :: The First Swine Flu in 1976 :: The Modern Mutated Swine Flu :: How to Deal with Swines and the Swine Flu :: Swine's Flu link with Obama]

"As of 6pm April 24 2009, 8 human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) virus infection have been identified in San Diego County, Imperial County, California as well as in San Antonio, Texas. This strain of influenza virus is unique because it is a combination of swine, bird, and human influenza viruses."

The original swine flu derives from pigs, who crammed into, small confined areas smell one anothers' FART!  Outbreaks of swine flu happen regularly in pigs. (Is it any wonder these animals develop and suffer respiratory problems and eventually death?)  With genes from birds, pigs and humans, mix up those flu's genes like a evil witch's brew, and you have one hellava flu bug!

One of the symptoms of this new never-before virus infection is respiratory problems - the same symptoms as that of the original swine flu. Never-before because the original swine flu bug has been mutated. Only now it's "harder" to cure and the current Swine Flu is not a naturally-occuring virus; this virus....or flu bug was born in a petri-dish.
