      <description>Another thought-provoking entry Alex!  :)  Some people really like Mercedez Benz, so every car is a Merc.  But there are people who buy things not because they need it, but because of the status attached to it.  Once, false ceilings in Singapore was the status for hip couples with hip homes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I guess when you buy something you need more than you want (even if you can dress up that iPhone etc), you're not materialistic.</description>
