It seems some anime characters are involved in Japan politics!
The administration of the election for Miyagi Prefecture Governor made a PR poster featuring a character of Sengoku BASARA, Date Masamune. Seiyuu Nakai Kazuya will play Date in the TV and radio advertisements. Miyagi Prefecture printed 10,200 copies of the poster and 890,000 copies of the handbill. The election administrators expect Date to encourage the young people to vote.
