As a responce to John Stewart criticism, Jim Cramer said that John Stewart is a comedian. It sound like
a good joke. But the onely joke here its cramer words. what is was trying to say? "Hey mister Stewart
is not serious, he is just a comedian? or maybe, "Look at me, i am serious expert you should listen to me,
i am not a fool, i am not a comedian".
I am not sure John Stewart is just a comedian. Comparing to Jim Cramer he is more than a comedian.
John Stewart is one of the most honest and briliant artists in the media. At list he is refering his job seriously.
I feel that for him, comedy is just a tool. a storng weapon to draw your attantion. Would you consider
Charlie Chaplin just a comedian? Would you say from prespective point of view
that "modern times" is just a comedy? of course not. it is more than that.
John stewart started a new quest againt the Media. He was trying to say in his briliant way: "Dont belive all
the "experts" because they dont know nothing about this crisis. John Stewart was seriously talking
about his "fucking money". When i saw the clips of the show on YouTube, i was amazed by the way
Stewart was trying to talk about a real serious issue. In his words, it wasn't a economic Tsunami
that suddenly appeard in our life. it was a crisis that you would expect from an expert to see.
When Jim Cramer recomended Bear Stearns a week before there collapse it wasn't a joke,
the man was sure that everything is going well with his recommendation. Regretfully, we all know
what happend to Bear Stearns.
The Media is not watching, or barking, at list you should expect that the media experts will bite.
very regretfully, they can't bite, because they became Pudels. they created there own private show.
they are looking at all what they are doing as a show and nothing but a show. Even if it is
an economic show and it must deal with figures, numbers and bottom lines. Its still a show.
Just a game and it has nothing to do with telling the truth.
Its all about ethics. John Stewart did not tell a private joke in his show. He was trying to prove
that if you are an "expert" you must be responsible. People are watching you and when you
are saying you are an expert there is an option that people will believe in what you are saying.
John Stewart proved that he can be a serious comedian and responsible host.
Our money is not a joke, our future is not a game in the hands of some "experts"
that are trying to show us the “right” way. John Stewart was trying to tell all the "Jim Cramer's"
of the Media stop hiding the truth, start to be more responsible. I am not sure it was funny
it was the first move of real serious comedian to take a step in order to protect the rights
of all of us. We are not getting all the answers, because maybe there are not any “experts”
who can give us any answers.
