Apple PowerMac G4 Modded into a Motorcycle

Now that's what I call a casemod! Or a casemoto, I guess. Those PowerMac G4's are the perfect size for a smaller person to sit on so it makes sense in someone's world to make a motorcycle with a PowerMac G4 for the seat. Maybe not the most comfortable seat, but a seat nonetheless. It looks more like a toy-sized motorcycle but what do you expect from something made partially from an Apple computer?

Eames Era Decor Meets the Computer Age

Fans of mid century modern furniture ("Eames era" if you've ever searched for this type of thing on Craigslist) will like this very nice looking mission style PC case mod. This case mod, which looks a bit like an end table to me, is made of black walnut with a PC inside- an ATX mid-tower within that's equipped with an Intel Core i7 CPU, NVIDIA graphics and dual stage temperature-controlled exhaust fans. If I had one of these, I'd just sit back in my Eames Chair, put my feet up on my Noguchi table in my Frank Lloyd Wright house and work all day on this computer.

Miniature Oven Stovetop PC Casemod is Hot

This minicooker PC casemod is one of the hottest mods we've ever seen. It's definitely the best looking kitchen appliance case mod by a Czech we've seen in the last 10 hours, that's for certain. The realism is pretty stunning, right down to the blue LED gas burners on top for that sizzling effect. The only thing that could make it more realistic would be that distinct burning smell from leaving food in the oven way too long while you're caught up in the middle of an intense Wii Tennis match.
The bottom drawer even opens up to function as a DVD drive. Inside that oven is a Pentium D820 3.5 GHz CPU, with 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and an nVidia 9600GT graphics card. Here's a six minute plus video showing how this thing was made, complete with epic classical soundtrack, if you're interested (spoiler alert- lots of welding!). Awesomeness.

Old Giant Cell Phone Modded into a Working PC

Great mod! A crafty fella took a ridiculously old giant Miami Vice Zach Morris style phone and crammed a tiny working PC into there to use as a media center. It only makes sense that at some point the decreasing size of today's computers caught up with the size of the giant cases size of those original cell phones.
Inside this Mobira Talkman cell phone (nope, never heard of it either) is a full computer complete with USB hub, WiFi and sound cards and a 128x128 OLED screen where the handset screen originally was. It's one of those vintage mobile phones that require two separate parts to function, the giant handset and the handbag sized case. Cool mod that only took 40 hours to complete.

Old School Microphone PC Case Mod

Here's a really cool PC case mod, taking the form factor of a vintage microphone. It's actually in the design of a Unidyne microphone, probably best known as the mic of choice for Elvis, a well known musician. This PC case is made of wood with an aluminum metallic paint coating to give it the metal look. I like how the wires of the microphone cleverly double as the wires for the computer. I guess that's the advantage of making your casemod into something that is wired- the wires don't make it look like a case mod but instead like the real object. Nice work.

Atari 2600 Mod with Built in Screen on Console

Ever wished you could take your old Atari 2600 with you when you travel? Well you can if you mod it out so there's a 5″ LCD screen and a joystick controls right on the console itself. Dubbed the "Stella-Tubby v1.0″, this modsterpiece (damn I though I made that word up but apparently the term's been used 3 other times in the history of the internets- still not bad) can actually be yours as it's up for sale on Ebay. It even runs on a pair 9V batteries so it is truly portable- yeah you'll need a giant backpack or something but you could in theory take it to go.

We've seen plenty of strange case-mods but this is one of the wackiest. Comedimodder Stupid Inventions has taken one of those as-seen-on-TV Ped Eggs that are used to scrape the dead skin off the bottom of your feet and combined it with an optical mouse to create the Ped Mouse. The Ped Mouse functions both as a mouse and a Ped Egg, allowing you to surf the internet and manscape your feet at the same time. Here's the video:
