People who consider themselves victims of their circumstances will always remain victims, unless they develop a greater vision for their lives.                                                                                                                                                                      -Stedman Graham

Do you allow circumstances to dictate your life?

If you do then I have news for you there is a whole other world out there for you. A happier world, a world of opportunities that is just waiting for you to discover what it holds for you.

Look at the meaning of circumstance.
1 a: a condition, or event accompanying, conditioning, or determining another : an essential or inevitable concomitant <the weather is a circumstance to be taken into consideration>b:a subordinate or accessory fact  c:a piece of evidence

Any where in that definition did you read where it was the rule that mandates another? No because it doesn't.

Circumstances may change things as we know it but it is how we look at them that determines how they effect us.

One person may allow himself to be knocked down and locked into a job he doesn't like with low pay. That person may allow his life to be ruled by health issues that say a wheelchair is where you will be.

Another in the same circumstances will look at the circumstances and use them as learning tools. As a springboard for his/her mind and find ways to move up in his job. The person may even use the circumstance to find a better job.  The health issues may say one thing and the wheelchair may be the only mode of the mode of transit instead of legs but the desire to be active is stronger. So the person finds a way to get the tires he needs to go on the beach or practices so playing wheelchair basketball on a team can be possible.

Which life sounds more enjoyable, more full, more like you would select if you had those circumstances?

Don't let circumstances dictate your life. You are the only one that has full control over your life and the direction it goes.
