Everyone loves a parade, I went to China wearing a cowboy hat but I shaved off my hitler mustashe,I'm into multiple bylines

 The lobby was ground zero for the pre-parade, it was stocked with clowns in formal dress, clown formal.

We were to amble half a block to the major city square, to be formally welcomed by the Mayor a gong was to be struck and parade from there up the main street,across a bridge and on [until it was deemed we were exhausted]. If able, some of us were to be folded into buses and do a cameo in a poorer part of town at the mayors request.

This was your 9am parade call followed by first day at the venue.

We went into one end, half a million people formed and we went through to the other.

I was asked astutely what the most memorable part of this particular parade was and after a bit of thought it most certainly was the look of childish glee on some very ancient faces in the crowd.
