Asus has successfully launched a new model called the Eee PC 1201HA. Asus Eee PC 1201HA is based on nVidia Ion platform, combining the 1.6GHz N270 Atom processor and integrated GeForce 9400M graphics card with support for DirectX 10 API. Just like Lenovo IdeaPad S12, Samsung N510 and HP 311 Mini, this netbook packs Nvidia ION technology. With Nvidia's legacy GeForce 9400M graphics chip inside, Asus also has jumped into the ION based netbook bandwagon. This GeForce 9400M is capable of playing 1080p HD content and supports other Nvidia technologies like PureVideo HD, PhysX and CUDA.

The new 12” netbook is expected to be launched in late 2009 and should retails at $499.
