Other than feed reader, Google blog search offers iGoogle gadget that allow you to embed on iGoogle home page or any other iGoogle gadgets supported pages. This will let you to keep updated on your favorite topics on web. Google blog search home page adds all latest hot topic discussed on web, also shows “Hot Queries” lists searches currently popular in Blog Search, Similar to Google trends.
These latest post and hot queries helps user to find new post before it appears for search and shows most popular stories on top blogs on web. As we all know blogs always have fresh content and gain more influnce on web. Since with these new search updates can Google blog search attract more users ? Am not sure people are using Google blog search more effectively. Personally i won't spend more time on Blog search, but am going to give it a try.
