A Twitter Karma Alternative, Why?
In a previous post I showed you the best tool to bulk unfollow the tweeters who aren’t following you back on your Twitter account.
The purpose of this “cleaning” tool is to make space for new people to follow, allowing them to follow you back and grow you followers list.
The main tool everybody knows about is Twitter Karma.
And it is my favorite. But, it has some downsides.
Twitter Karma Limitations
I always used it and I always got good results.
Sometimes, it gives back an error message, telling it couldn’t “whack” all your data, because it stopped at 98,54% of them (the number is usually in the 97-99% range.
Most of the times, if you whack again right away, it will complete the data loading and you will be able to get access all the twitter karma features on the selected account
The big problems came when I reached the 18000 followers count.
The error message was more and more frequent and the number of times I need to re-whack began to grow, until the message would keep coming up again and again with no possibility to access the bulk unfollow feature at all.
At first I thought it was an internet connection problem, so I tested it on another PC, on another IP, but nothing changed. I began to surrender to the fact that it would work no more for this account.
This is why I searched for a free Twitter Karma alternative.
