Sponsored by an Australian political party, Climate Sceptics [their spelling], this presentation contains absolutely vital information which you need to see. It displays graphs which explicitly and clearly contradict the false assertions of the plunderers and how much they are plotting to steal from Australians. The same logic applies to the Cap & Tax scheme proposed by Obamination.
I received a Powerpoint presentation by email. The Sceptics' web site offers the same information in a 4mb pdf file. We must strike while the iron is hot, while the Democrat Party machine is reeling from the effects of the special election in Massachusetts. Now is the time to tell your friends about the availability of free scientific information about the global warming issue.
We need to apply pressure to the politicians. http://www.congress.org/ makes it easy to send an email to your Representative & Senators. All you need to know is your Zip Code. Just copy and paste this url into your email: http://www.climatesceptics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/PPP-printing-version.pdf |

We may be hopeful some rational voice may have a chance to be heard at the political level on the issue of anthropogenic Carbon Dioxide (CO2) to air in the coming year. As I pointed out here the science (despite a lot of global government money being spent on it) did not make it to the policy level.
There is new science now that, if verified, should lead to reworking all the climate models. Science Daily reports on new atmospheric CO2 research
Dr Wolfgang Knorr at the University of Bristol found that in fact the trend in the airborne fraction since 1850 has only been 0.7 ± 1.4% per decade, which is essentially zero. The strength of the new study, published online in Geophysical Research Letters, is that it rests solely on measurements and statistical data, including historical records extracted from Antarctic ice, and does not rely on computations with complex climate models.www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/11/091110141842.htm There is a huge exchange of CO2 naturally between land/ocean and air. Human activity emissions even at current levels are still a small component. It should be pointed out that the atmosphere makes no distinction between power station exhaust or the CO2 released from natural sources.

It’s remarkable how Ronald Reagan’s words apply today as when he spoke them at his inauguration January 20, 1981, and had previously expressed the same idea in his GOP Convention speech in 1964:

There has been a fact lost in translation from objective science to politics.
AFP reported Britain blames China over 'farcical' climate talks The accord promised $US100 billion ($A112.25 billion) for poor nations that risk bearing the brunt of the global warming fallout, and set a commitment to limit global warming to two degrees Celsius. Scientists say hundreds of millions of people are threatened in the next few decades by worsening drought, floods, storms and rising sea levels as a result of rising temperatures. I'm not too sure which 'scientists' these are, but AFP has not put in their mouth an objective scientific statement. I didn't read any such statement in even the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report. The IPCC report by, arguably, one of the most biased group of scientists in this field, is full of carefully worded caveats. This is just one example from the IPCC 2007 Report here, Increases in the frequency of droughts (Salinger, 2005) or a higher intensity of tropical cyclones (See Meehl et al., 2007) could occur. (my emphasis) Clearly "could occur" was lost in translation. The following is also from the IPCC 2007 assessment report chapter 10 These results (projections for the Greenland ice sheet, see context) |

Jews know all too well how the vast majority of the world can have a grossly distorted view of reality. Fed a diet of propaganda and lies by their religious leaders, politicians, academicians and media, much of the world is led to believe absurdities such as that Israel is the biggest danger to the world and that Jews are the sons of monkeys and pigs. Just as much of the world has a very clear, but wrong, picture of Jews and Israel, it also has a very clear picture of “climate change.” But as the climate summiteers gather in Copenhagen, we should not assume that climate picture is any more accurate than the picture that the world holds of us. After all, it is largely the same cabal of European media, academics and political elites leading both the climate change and anti-Israel causes. That is only the beginning of the similarities. Recent disclosures by NGO Monitor revealed that European governments have been funding anti-Israel non-profits -- and that financing skews the debate about Middle East issues. For a longer time it has been known that anti-semitic Saudi money goes to American universities, such as Georgetown and Harvard, so as to spread its antithetical views. Likewise, the climate change alarmists are also the beneficiaries of government and other financial largess, but even on a much larger scale. One estimate is that the U.S. government alone has spent more than $79 billion |

This is irrefutable, non-bustable, Climategate-proof data that shows global warming is REAL and that Al Gore is right!

Will most of California, or indeed much of the civilised world, be in the future under water?
Sea level rise is supposedly evidence of Global Warming.
It is evidence indeed of warmer seas. Warmer seas are a factor that contributes to milder winters.
The great ages of civilisations (the Vikings, the rise of the Anglo-Saxon civilisation and the Gothic) required warmer seas and warmer winters. Our warmer era has seen an explosion of human inventive culture, so we should rejoice at this.
Perhaps take a 4WD to the North pole. Take a motor boat over the top of Russia. Fly into space.
But seriously, if indeed the sea continues to warm and rise in level, it will affect human development on low lying land.
