Know More: Gmail Buzz is the newest launch of Google for Gmail Users. It is a kind of sharing social status and comes as status modernizes service. Gmail Buzz seems to be a mixed reaction for the Google Buzz service. Gmail Buzz looks like a master of all as it brings together features of multiple social networks. Google Wave and Friend Feed are two services that are on the biggest risk.
Gmail Buzz and Google Wave are not same. But Buzz borrows the elements of Google Wave due to which Google Wave comes on death watch. Google Wave offers the feature of shared media sharing of snaps and videos. But the Best feature of Google Buzz is location which is not in Google Wave.
- Find Buzz in your Gmail right below your inbox. with a chat icon.
From the screen below you can post your first Buzz.

It is really difficult to get along with using those shortcut, it is primarily to do with learning those keys and memorizing them. Well that is to change for Gmail as Gboard brings all those shortcuts on a keyboard. The device looks neat, very useful and its priced at $19.99, something a power Gmail user would love to have to avoid the mouse or bad memory slowing him down. The device like many other peripherals plugs into the USB port and is supported on both the Windows and Mac. The shortcuts can be enabled by moving over to the settings page on your Gmail and enabling keyboard shortcuts. With shortcuts to 19 major functions on your Gmail, the device helps you do a lot more and a whole lot quicker making you look like some Gmail Guru who is rarely seen touching the mouse [that would make me feel elated]. As mentioned above, the Gboard has a lot of appeal. I mean I don’t know many shortcuts in Gmail and even when I learn those [Gmail Keyboard Shortcuts] I forget them the moment I log out. The keyboard is definitely a very useful device and it looks all that Google-like too with the colors and how it eases things up and those of you who can type blond folded, it is only a matter of a couple of hours before you can be using those shortcuts with your shut. So how many of you are going to step up and spend a few buck on this one? Come on, don’t you want your colleagues wondering how you can use Gmail without touching your mouse?

If you have ever wanted to know which are the most popular email clients that people worldwide are using to read /open their emails, take a look at this graph.
Microsoft Outlook (including Outlook Express) is the most popular desktop email software followed by web-based email services from Yahoo Mail and Windows Live Hotmail.
These stats are based on the email client usage of more than 300 million people that was done by Campaign Monitor for some six months. The company embeds a tracking image into their email messages and uses the referral information to determine the email client that was used to open that particular email. That means if a person is reading his emails in offline mode or has turned off automatic image downloads (like in Gmail) or is using an email client that cannot display images (like older BlackBerry phones), his email client will go undetected. If you are reading this story on a mobile phone with images turned off, here’s a text version of the same graph: | Email client | Popularity |
|---|
| Microsoft Outlook | 39.63% | | Yahoo! Mail | 15.65% | | Hotmail | 15.35% | | Apple Mail | 8.25% | | iPhone / iPod Touch | 5.78% | | Gmail | 5.51% | | AOL Mail | 2.76% | | Lotus Notes 6 | 1.72% | | Thunderbird 2 | 1.12% | | Others | 4.23% |
It is also important to note that the above graph represents popularity of email clients and not email services. For instance, one could be using POP or IMAP to read his Gmail messages inside Outlook so that will increase the share of Outlook and not that of Gmail. |

Google seems to be continually redefining markets time after time just like Apple obliterates the competition with its mind blowing gadgets such as the iPhone, iPod Touch and Magic Mouse. Google has GMail (best mail app out there by far for its continuous innovation), Talk and Maps Navigation (I know there's much more Google has to offer but that's a good summary for now). Mark this day on your calendar, November 4, 2009, as a day the big navigation providers took a huge hit in their stock price because a lot of people realize that Google Maps Navigation could destroy their business. Sadly it's only offered in the U.S. for now on phones with Android 1.6 or higher but there's a bright end to the tunnel for Canadian consumers. DAVE Wireless, one of the three new wireless companies set to hit the market in the next 6 months, is planning to release Google's phone with Android pre-installed. Now for the features of Google Maps Navigations. - Search in plain ‘ol English (watch video). Much like searching on Google Maps, you don't need to know the address of where you are going (unless it's a house and then you may have trouble). All you have to do is type the name of the business (i.e. Best Buy) or the type (i.e. electronics)
- Search by voice (watch video). This is not a new feature as a Magellan GPS offers it, but now Google Maps Navigation does as well. Just speak your destination such as "Navigate to Air Canada Centre in Toronto"

Google really meant it when it talked about taking Gmail Offline and today it concretes it further. The master of almost every trade today announced that Gmail users can attach files to the composed email even if they are offline. Simply enable Offline Gmail and with that done you will b able to pin any file to the email except for images that form the body of the mail and your email makes it to the recipient via the outbox which makes sure your attachments attached to the mail even if your connection with the Web is lost. The whole strategy is pretty useful, primarily in places where the Internet connections are ridiculously poor and slow. Users will greatly benefit from this as they will be able to make all attachments offline and send them once they are hooked to the net again. There needs to be more in this regard, I mean from others too, why is it almost always Gmail or Google bringing all this?
