Latest controversial Obama appointment more "bipartisan"

The Obama administration made history this past Sunday while making yet another controversial appointment. Several previous appointments have been under intense scrutiny because of the questionable actions of the appointees themselves. However, this latest appointment was a bit more “bipartisan” (so to speak); generating increased criticism from the GOP.

On Sunday, Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, named Rush Limbaugh leader of the Republican party, as Limbaugh announced his hope for the failure of Obama’s liberal and “socialistic” agenda. Administrative appointments have traditionally not been directed at the opposing party, hence displaying the administration’s willingness to “reach across the isle.”

In an interview with CNN’s D.L. Hughley, RNC Chairman Michael Steele said “No he’s not, I am the de facto leader of the Republican Party.” Steele also added that Limbaugh was “ugly.” In response, Rush fired back at Steele by claiming, “I know you are, but what am I?”
