Heed and Hunt Hamas Or Heil Haniyeh

Gazan Demonstrators .. Hamas supporters or captive population?

What is Israel - and the World - to conclude when Gaza’s Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh addresses 100000 cheering Gazan Arabs on 14 December 2009 to mark 22 years since the formation of Hamas and tells them:
“We will never give up on Palestine from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea.
It is not enough for Hamas to liberate Gaza, nor to establish an emirate in Gaza, nor a state, nor an independent entity... Hamas strives to liberate all of Palestine."
Is this the rant of a madman or a leader on a deadly - but seemingly hopeless - mission to get rid of 6.5 million Jews who live in what was formerly 22% of the British Mandate for Palestine - today called Israel and the West Bank?

When Haniyeh talks of liberating “all of Palestine“ does he also include the remaining 78% that is today called Jordan?

Is his territorial conquest only related to “all of Palestine” or does it extend far beyond Palestine’s former boundaries?

September 11, 2001 - December 7,1941: Dates That Will Live In Infamy

Dates That Serve To Define The World

Tomorrow, December 7, marks the anniversary of "a date that will live in infamy", the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. This was the event that brought the United States into WW II, ultimately leading to the defeat of what was then a overwhelming threat to the security of the world. Had the Japanese not committed this act, and had the United States not entered the war, who is to know the state of the world today.

That hypothetical gives way to the actual reality of the day, that of the global threat of both terrorism through "conventional" means, as well as through nuclear weapons that could bring global devastation in seconds. Let us never forget that those who wish to control and dictate through the belief that all in the world should be a certain way, whether ethnically, religiously or both, can only be defeated in one way.

What if Hitler Won the War?”

Guest Post by  James Diehl

Between 1941 and 1945, tens of thousands of American men responded to the grave threat posed on the world by Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. For nearly four years, these heroic men put their lives on hold to fight against evil on the battlefields of Europe, Asia and Africa.

They were selfless men who, almost to a man, felt they had a responsibility to defend the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.” They’ll tell you today that they’re not heroes, but that they were merely doing their jobs.

Those beliefs and values are a big reason why men and women of that era became known as the greatest generation in history, as Tom Brokaw so eloquently stated a few years ago. The men who survived the horrors of World War II often withstood a dozen or more close calls with death – they are heroes, as are the ones who never made it home.

It makes me shiver to think what life would be like today had the Allies not won the war. America would certainly be a very different place in the 21st century, as would the free world.

Think about it for a second. What if the Axis had won the war and imposed their will on the United States, mandating a similar fate to the one the Allies imposed on Germany in the post-World War II era?

The price of appeasement. Remember Hitler?

Appeasement

If we learned anything from World War II, it was that appeasing a madman is merely an opportunity for the madman to accomplish his goals. France and Britain did their level best to give Hitler what he wanted in order to avoid war. The result: Hitler ignored the treaties and the protests and did what he wanted.

He bought time and took advantage of governments that he knew did not have the stomach for war. Does any of this sound familiar? Read the following clip and replace the names where appropriate with Iran, United States, U.N. Resolutions, France, Britain, Russia and China.

These are dangerous times, and if we don't learn from history we are destined to repeat it!

This [the Holocaust] must never happen again. ... Be vigilant about your rights. Care about the rights and human dignity of others.

When the rights of any group, no matter how small, no matter how marginal, are violated, your liberty, your freedom is put at risk. Let there never be a day when we cast about in horror and have to ask the question, "How did it ever come to this?"
- Thomas Childers, Ph.D., Professor of History, University of Pennsylvania, in the closing remarks of his six-hour Teaching Company audio lecture series A History of Hitler’s Empire

Listening to Professor Childers on my iPod as I walked on the beach and drove around town, I was struck by the similarities between the early days of Hitler's rise to power in the 1920's and today's small but vocal minority of Americans calling for Muslims, Mexicans, Gays, and others to be treated as less than fully American, less than fully worthy human beings. If you think I am exaggerating this attack on our moral values, click here

This, Despite The Always "Frightening" Threat Of Tougher Sanctions To Be "Considered" If, By The End Of September, They Do Not Sit Down For Nuclear Negotiations With The United States And The Rest (or most) Of The World Community

This is who and what we are up against. When will country's around the world take proactive steps, before the time, God forbid, that reactive steps are required! Read on:

nuclear bomb 2

Health care, Van Jones, the economy and the myriad other items on the agenda may be moot in the event Iran develops or obtains the capacity to get to the end game of its nuclear weapons program.

This while North Korea nears the "final state" of enriching uranium which would give it an alternative to it already existing plutonium capability.

This while the world community watches and waits.

The Healthcare Gestapo

World AffairsPolitics & Opinions

When Hitler was in power there were two cornerstones that he relied on to retain that power. One of them was the Gestapo; the Third Reich’s infamous secret police force. The other was a public that would turn in to the Gestapo those who opposed Hitler and his policies. Had the public failed to cooperate, the Nazi’s would have found it far more difficult to retain power, and the Gestapo itself would have been far less effective. Now, the Obama administration is asking American’s to turn in those who are spreading “disinformation” about healthcare reform. In fact, the official White House website has a paragraph that now reads, “There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.” Not only is this totalitarian request frightening, it is also a violation of federal law.
