Curing the Common Cold: Naturally

LifestyleHealth, Sports & Fitness

cold-commonGuess what?  Yep, it's cold and flu season again.  While there's a lot of hype about Swine Flu (I mean H1N1, sorry) in the news, the threat of that is pretty small.  Considering that there are six billion people or so on this planet and not even a million of us have even gotten the H1N1 so far, the odds are pretty slim you'll get it or even be exposed.

Besides the swine flu, there's also the "regular" flu and, of course, the common cold.

Well, I have something to tell you: nature has had a remedy for the common cold for years.  Decades, even centuries upon centuries.  It's so effective, it might be considered a cure, even.  A cure for the common cold?!

Sadly, for the pharmaceutical companies, that cure can't be patented.  Sucks to be them.

First, I'll show you how this natural cure works.  Then we'll look at some quick differences between the common cold and the more serious flu.  Then I'll tell you that I'm not a doctor and that I do not give medical advice and that you should seek the counsel of a qualified medical type person.  Then you'll wonder if I'm a lawyer.

Curing the Common Cold
As soon as you begin to feel it coming on, up your intake of Vitamin C.  In fact, no matter what the sickness, this should be your immediate response.  Vitamin C is vital to the immune system's defense mechanisms.

H1N1 Flu: Death by Needle? Part Five

LifestyleHealth, Sports & Fitness

I apologise for the uploading this late!   I was busy this weekend (yesterday was Singapore's National Day).  And my best friend passed away today in Tioman (Mersing) - she was swept away by the currents but by the time she was found...  Her body will return to Singapore tomorrow (Aug 12th 2009).

I know I make her feel guilty sometimes (about prescription drugs and what-not) but she never complain.  She nodded and smiled as she said,"I understand what you're saying Kelly."  Because she is a nurse who can't say NO when she's instructed to administer a vaccine or a prescription drug.  She trained and became a nurse because she wanted to save lives, NOT to take lives away.

Annie will always be remembered by those who know her, for her smile, kindness and gentle ways.  She was a friend to me and more.

Thank you @CharlesLau@MacAaron, @Oddjobca@GenKreton and many other good friends for your consolation pertaining to Annie's demise.   Those of us alive still have 'battles' ahead!

H1N1 Flu: Death by Needle? Part Four

This blog entry is continued from "H1N1 Flu: Death by Needle?  Part Three"  (Aug 5th 2009)
Will there be unfair penalties should I refuse the H1N1 vaccines (I am feeling healthy and I don't need something that poses a risk to my health)?

What does the Martial Law have to do with my willingness or unwillingness to take vaccines?

Why is it that SOLDIERS and POLICE MEN are to be called in (part of the H1N1 Emergency plan)?

The only reason I can think of is the law in countries will be able to give citizens NO CHOICE - no choice in whether you accept or reject the H1N1 Vaccine. Given all the signs and circumstances, mandatory vaccines have become a possibility; and in some states and countries, these H1N1 Vaccines have become mandatory.

What's this NORTHCOM and Comcare I hear so much about?

The establishment of NORTHCOM

Although Reuters reported preliminary work is being done for production of the H1N1 vaccine (and confirmed by Dr. Anne Schuchat of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), Baxter had patented the Swine Flu vaccine in 2002.   And again in early March 2009way before H1N1 flu infected the first human:

"In particular preferred embodiments the composition or
vaccine comprises more than one antigen.....such as
influenza A and influenza B in particular selected from of one
or more of the human H1N1, H2N2, H3N2, H5N1, H7N7, H1N2,
H9N2, H7N2, H7N3, H10N7 subtypes, of the pig flu H1N1,

Singapore's First H1N1 (Swine) Flu Victim

Singapore's FIRST H1N1 Victim isn't much of a BIG DEAL - here's the REAL DEAL!  So...the "patient" is quarantined.  I would like to ask why is the media so afraid of "offending our rich rich merchants in Orchard Road or elsewhere" and for causing "fall in fantastic tourism statistics"?  AFRAID enough to point the finger at our Singapore's first H1N1 victim!  Don't you think we are as much of victims as she is?  (Read why below!!)

Let's be more open-minded about the whole issue.  Don't you think those pig farmers too suffer a loss?  Don't you think that shops in Mexico forced to shut down are also suffering a loss?  Don't you think that learning is very unnecessarily interrupted when schools close because of Swine Flu?

For those who are finger-pointing our first Singapore's H1N1 victim, you are missing the BIG GORILLA sitting in the room.

Swine Flu: Get to the Swine of the Matter

By the way, this is a pretty loooooong blog entry so be sure to bookmark it and return later. Or just PRINT this to read offline! [Jump to The Swine Flu Discrepancy :: The First Swine Flu in 1976 :: The Modern Mutated Swine Flu :: How to Deal with Swines and the Swine Flu :: Swine's Flu link with Obama]

"As of 6pm April 24 2009, 8 human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) virus infection have been identified in San Diego County, Imperial County, California as well as in San Antonio, Texas. This strain of influenza virus is unique because it is a combination of swine, bird, and human influenza viruses."

The original swine flu derives from pigs, who crammed into, small confined areas smell one anothers' FART!  Outbreaks of swine flu happen regularly in pigs. (Is it any wonder these animals develop and suffer respiratory problems and eventually death?)  With genes from birds, pigs and humans, mix up those flu's genes like a evil witch's brew, and you have one hellava flu bug!

One of the symptoms of this new never-before virus infection is respiratory problems - the same symptoms as that of the original swine flu. Never-before because the original swine flu bug has been mutated. Only now it's "harder" to cure and the current Swine Flu is not a naturally-occuring virus; this virus....or flu bug was born in a petri-dish.
