Hi Folks! it's time for me to share about yet another Twitter scam. This time "Best Video" link posted from Juste.ru. First please don't click on the link of this tweet when you found on Twitter. This virus already spreadead widley with the power of Twitter. [ Read more ]

The latest Twitter scam is seems to be titled Best video followed by the video link from juste.ru. Twitter recent status update explain's " No matter how good that “best video” looks, don’t go to any juste.ru domains. We’re aware of the situation and are working on it. "

If you click on the video link then your Twitter credentials will be stolen, so better avoid clicking these kind of video links from juste.ru and even don't follow or let them follow you. If your tweet suppose to have a link then you need to some precautions, first change your password, scan for virus/malware/spyware and clear your browser cookies.

Finally please don't click on the video link from juste.ru

Thank you Mash for this alert - very timely! As you know I just returned to BB community - my pc was hit with a nasty rootkit that TAKES OVER your pc and decides which programmes you can use or whether you're even allowed to surf the internet! (Rootkit: a combo of virus, trojan and malware most anti-virus software has no fix for this yet except to deactivate autoruns to keep the thing from acting up!)

If you can afford a few bucks (pay per view or pay per download), you know the video is less likely to be a malware. Good idea to go to established video sites. (I believe DrRus is someone you can ask on here if it is concerning safe video sites to trust.)

Also, never use same passwords for sites you intend to join. I had a friend who used one same passwords for all sites she joined - that was so risky! She's since changed all her passwords.

Retweeting to "spread the word"...hard to believe anyone would click that anyway. This is the problem I have with making urls short too. How do services like bit.ly deal with links to malicious sites?
