Password recovery this term might be well known to all users who owns an email. Many of us come across this term, i personally experienced a couple of times. Mobile phones are widely used among users around the world. Since Google decided sending recoverd password via text messages would be more convenient and easier for the user. Currently the options is only available in the US. If you are in US then login to your Google account and click on Change Password Recovery Options. Type your mobile number and current password and clicking save button you will be getting an access code in reply as an text message. Now enter the access code to login to you Google account.
If people other than US like to try this new password recovery option, use any US proxy and try it out and leave you valuable feedback and suggestions. Happy Googling :)
