Mozilla’s products that you do not know

Over 40.000 Addons for Firefox got 32 million users (from Mozilla blog). Except the most famous Firefox and second target product is Thunderbird, almost people didn’t know how many products Mozilla made ?

So, How many products from Mozilla ?
Someone said that Mozilla have only Firefox, someone said that Mozilla have only Firefox and Thunderbird. In fact, Firefox have 6 main products – all of open source community. So, let me introduce each product:

Thunderbird – Help you controlling e-mail, makes emailing safer, faster and easier
Thunderbird – the name associated with the royal blue logo cover the mail. The special of Thunderbird is email tab. Search, Send, Read email by new tab too.

I’m using Google Mail, and didn’t have any time to touch Thunderbird. So, I didn’t know how is make Thunderbird popular ? I’ll try Thunderbird on a recent.

In fact, 95% people didn’t know what is the Bugzilla ! except the people who are programmer and other technical support.
I didn’t know Bugzilla until today.

Camino – Couple web browse for Mac user
Camino is an open source web browser developed with a focus on providing the best possible experience for Mac OS X users.

This is the most mentioned web browse. We didn’t hear any information from TV/News or Internet! Firefox, Internet Explore, Chrome, Safari is support both Windows and Mac. Some web browse support for Linux and Ubuntu. Is it that must be what makes little mention ?

Look at the screenshot above, the Camino themes similar with Safari. Is it required for both web browse on Mac OS ?

This product is two different part: Lighting and Sunbird. Lighting use within email and Thunderbird. I using Google Calendar, it is enough for personal scheduling. The Lighting and Sunbird look modern. Let try it if you want to discover new calendar system more than Google Calendar.

Like as the Mozilla user, I didn’t know almost Mozilla products. I didn’t deny that their product is not good but almost people didn’t know it! So, Why the user don’t know their product ? The product towards object to high level ?. They didn’t have a Effective Marketing Strategy ?
