Retweet is a very simple yet powerful way of sharing information with your followers. This recently, I have been checking closely who I am following because I want to retweet really good information to my followers. It's addictive, and it is really easy because I can share information easily and make more friends with those who share these information to me. 
What is Retweet? Retweet simply means "taking the tweet that somebody has created", and share it with your followers while giving credit to that somebody. It adds a meaning to your Twitter account, and gives every reason why people should follow you. How to Retweet? There are 3 ways that I have been using to retweet messages. The first way is to go to your usual twitter.com, find an interesting information and copy the whole text into your textbox, adds a "RT" in front, and tweet it! The second way is to download and use a Windows application (I recommend TweetDeck). Look for a tweet that you are interested, mouseover that person's avatar, and choose "Retweet CharlesLau's tweet"! The third way is to use a Symbian application on my Nokia N95 (I recommend Twibble). Look for the interesting tweet, and press numpad 4 to forward the tweet. It will automatically add "RT" in front, ready for you to retweet! What kind of information can we retweet? Well, many people will usually retweet URLs. I will do it for several kinds of information. When I find an interesting phrase that I think my followers will like, I will retweet it. I will definitely retweet website related tools and information that can help my followers get their best information for their website. It's usually from that bunch of people you will retweet! As I retweet longer, I realize that most of the retweets are from the usual people whom I am following. (That's the reason why I am following them in the first place!) That has also stop me from following any tom dick or harry anymore! I realize how much I am losing if I just follow anybody. That's why, this recently I am starting to check closely whom I am following so that I can provide better retweets! Retweet this post if you find this information interesting to share!
