Suryanamaskar (SALUTATIONS TO SUN)

Suryanamaskar (Surya means sun & namaskar means salutations, thus Salutations to Sun) combine Yogasanas and Pranayama. It brings  general flexibility and builds strength  of the body preparing it for further Asanas and Pranayama. This is usually done both at "sunrise" and "sunset", facing the Sun. Before starting these salutations to the sun the following Sanskrit verse should be chanted. (traditionally done that way because  Pantanjali who is the compiler of yoga sutras  has said so)
You can chant the verse in Sanskrit or take the prayer in English as given below. Whatever may be the language, meaning holds the same.

Here is the verse: (Sanskrit verse)

Hiranmayena Patrena Satyasyapihitam Mukham |
Tat twam Pusan Apavrnu Satya Dharmaya Drstaye ||

Which means(in English)

Like a lid to a vessel, O Sun, your Golden orb covers the entrance to Truth.

Soon after his arrival in India in 1959, Dalai Lama re-organized the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, and their tradition and culture are still maintained by many Tibetan exiles settled in the town.
For recording the genuine Tibetan samples on this library, I visited the refugee settlement under the Tibetan Government-in-Exile located in Dharamsala, Northern India.

"...any criticism on my part (of Obama) is classified, without exception, as an attack, an accusation or other similar names."
–Fidel Castro

Not long ago, Democratic pundits were proclaiming foreign leaders’ unwavering support of Barack Obama. Like Rembrandt and his brushes, Obama’s surrogates painted an almost utopian portrait of a global community, hands clasped in solidarity, weeping and oscillating to the 1980’s anthem, “We Are the World.” “Hope” was the mantra, and a new foreign policy was the promise, one that would radically “change” the world’s perception of these United States of America.

With President Obama at the helm, we Americans were supposed to sail off into the sunset, leaving behind the stigma created by “one of the most corrupt and self-serving administrations” in our country’s history.
