You all know that mixx is a popular social book marking  network and also one the major competitor of Digg.com .Mixx decided to change the look and change the way of surfacing the hotlinks  with our giant network that is twitter ,It is very surprisingly called as Tweetmixx and it is currently in beta stage. Mixx is trying extract  links through tweeting and to make their environment lively

And the process goes like which link appears more time on twitter it ranks in the first page of Mixx, and it gets the higher placement  .As usual you can log in using your twitter credentials and follow up your own users of twitter.

But regarding competition wise Tweetmixx is not the new or first to be launched.Tweetmixx is facing plenty of competition with Tweetmeme,twitrollr and tweetlinx and we heard that tunein just launched by last month

Tweetmeme is a service which aggregates all the popular links on twitter to determine which links are popular. Tweetmeme is able to categorize these links into categories and subcategories, making it easy to filter out the noise to find what your interested in.

What is that, really? Well, I am not going to rewrite something that is already perfect, so if you don't know what it is check out the ReTweet Guide over at Mashable.com. Ben Parr gives a great intro to re-tweeting and which programs you can use to get started with Twitter.

The retweet button is for website and blog publishers that want to encourage their audience to retweet their content on twitter.

I have spent many hours on sites like Digg, Reddit, Mixx and StumbleUpon, but now I feel that I don't need them any more. With Twitter (using Seesmic Desktop) I get all the same information I would want from those sites, and more!

If you do not have this plugin, or another way to retweet your content you are falling behind fast, IMO.

Top 10 Social Marketing Sites:

1. Facebook – Not the biggest yet, but just about there.  The audience is a little more mature and there are limitations to the customization, but the site is easy to use and growing every day.
2. Myspace - Still the largest social site on the web, but it quickly losing ground to Facebook.  The site has a younger audience and allows for more customization, but it’s harder to find things because content is all over the place.
3. Twitter – This is by far the fastest growing social site on the web. There is limited things you can do, but the audience is growing and there are lots of new opportunities to gain more expsoure on it.
4. Digg - This is a great site and one that has a big audience, but also has some good SEO value.  A good Digg page can rank really high on the search engines and push a lot of traffic.
