Apple PowerMac G4 Modded into a Motorcycle

Now that's what I call a casemod! Or a casemoto, I guess. Those PowerMac G4's are the perfect size for a smaller person to sit on so it makes sense in someone's world to make a motorcycle with a PowerMac G4 for the seat. Maybe not the most comfortable seat, but a seat nonetheless. It looks more like a toy-sized motorcycle but what do you expect from something made partially from an Apple computer?

Using a Hard Drive to Pick a Lock

You can use a hard drive to pick a lock. How? I'm not entirely sure; I've read the instructions, watched the video and all I can figure out is that the vibrations from the hard drive are used to shake a screwdriver turned lock pick inside a simple lock and open it within seconds. It seems like a high tech solution to a low tech problem. I'm guessing I could tape a screwdriver to my washing machine and do the same thing. Clearly I'm no expert on lock picking.

Playable NES in a Cartridge Mod

This might be one of coolest mods ever! Someone has managed to stuff an entire playable Nintendo Entertainment System into an NES cartridge. Now technically, it's not a real NES in there but a cheap knockoff that plays NES games via an emulator but the effect is just the same. You're playing games on a 2.8 inch LCD screen right on the cartridge itself. Cool. Here's an action video:

R2-D2 Gaming Rig Holds a Mere Eight Video Game Consoles

I don't know about you, but I demand that my astromechs hold at a minimum 9 gaming consoles available at my disposal. So this Star Wars gaming rig would not meet my lofty demands since inside R2-D2's belly is a mere 8 gaming consoles. This R2 mod is from a hollowed out cooler and even has a projector coming out from his dome to play the games just like the real Artoo. Err "real". For some people, this is very real. Anyway, inside is a Dreamcast, Playstation, SNES, Nintendo Ultra64, NES, Gamecube, and Sega Genesis. Yeah it sort of looks like poor R2 is in the shop and hooked up to life support but still- awesome.

Old Giant Cell Phone Modded into a Working PC

Great mod! A crafty fella took a ridiculously old giant Miami Vice Zach Morris style phone and crammed a tiny working PC into there to use as a media center. It only makes sense that at some point the decreasing size of today's computers caught up with the size of the giant cases size of those original cell phones.
Inside this Mobira Talkman cell phone (nope, never heard of it either) is a full computer complete with USB hub, WiFi and sound cards and a 128x128 OLED screen where the handset screen originally was. It's one of those vintage mobile phones that require two separate parts to function, the giant handset and the handbag sized case. Cool mod that only took 40 hours to complete.

Scanner Hidden in a Book Mod

Digitizing the printed word is an arduous task. It might go a little easier if your scanner was a bit more fun than just a boring gray box. Well Datamancer has gone and modded a flatbed scanner by putting inside a book. The scanned becomes the scanner. Or something like that. It's a pretty neat mod, although I'm not really sure WHY you'd want to do this. Nice work though.

WiiPod is an iPod in a Wiimote

Here's a unique hack that could actually be applied to pretty much any gadget you have that has a wrist or neck strap and a battery case. A Japanese hacker has put his iPod Shuffle clone inside a Wii remote. It fits with only a slight modification to the Wiimote completely inside the battery case like so:
