Fake Edible Panda Japanese Dorayaki Pancake USB Flash Drive

Here's another very strange USB flash drive from Japan. This cute panda flash drive is made to resemble a dorayaki which is a Japanese food which is sort of like a pair of spongecake-like pancakes surrounding a filling of sweet red bean paste. Sort of like a jelly donut I guess? I've never had one.

Apparently the panda is a popular and common shape for dorayaki. What's interesting about this drive is the level of detail that went into it- when you pop the head off (YES! my favorite method of accessing data from animal shaped flash drives! YES!) you will notice the highly detailed interior of the cake showing the bean filling.

And the novelty USB flash drive of the day is.... PANDA! Not only will this panda save your data, a portion of the proceeds (5%) goes to the WWF to save real pandas, with a minimum annual donation of $25,000. That would be the World Wildlife Fund, not the World Wrestling Federation in the 80's. Available in 2GB, 8GB, and 16GB sizes for varying prices. I'm glad they decided to go with the removable body style as opposed to the removable head style we typically see in our animal USB flash drives. This one's for a good cause.

Chrysler officially declared bankruptcy last week amongst cries from various political parties and pundits over the whys and hows of the deal.  Despite billions in government bailouts and massive cutbacks by the company–even the restructuring of agreements with United Auto Workers and several of Chrysler's debtors–the company could not avoid the inevitable.

While blame is being thrown at hedge fund managers and nameless "investment bankers," the real blame should lie with the Bush and Obama administrations, the Congressmen who agreed to the bailouts, and most heavily with the massive failures of Chrysler's management over the past decade or more.  Hedge fund managers whose interest lay in keeping your 401k and Roth IRA in the black are not to blame so much as the idiotic management decisions made by the Chrysler Corp's leadership for the past decade.
