Apple Cider Vinegar: According to the National Psoriasis Foundation, many individual members report that using apple cider vinegar has led to significant improvements in their psoriasis. These members suggest that they add the vinegar to their bath, applied directly to psoriatic nails (sign: thickened nails) and even applied directly to the affected areas of the skin using cotton wool balls or buds.

Alternatively, you can try to heal your psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis internally by adding apple cider vinegar to your diet. While many people would find that drinking apple cider vinegar is difficult to do because it is very sour or bitter, you can add it to warm water with honey to sweeten the potion before drinking it.

Do this at least twice a day, and you will be healing your psoriasis related problem from the inside in the most effective way possible.

The effectiveness of apple cider vinegar should not be particularly surprising because vinegar has been used throughout history as a healing solution, and the medicinal benefits of apple cider vinegar have been well known for a long time.

I accompanied my mum to her doctor today.  The doctor almost lost his cool when he raised his voice at her.

She insisted that she did not received enough "bloatedness" medicine supply for up to September.  The doctor re-checked his computer screen thrice and said THAT amount of meds were dispensed (for her bloutedness) in April.  She kept arguing they did not give her that much.  Blabbed blabbed blabbed and then suddenly stopped.

She just realized what she said.  I could picture her in 'cartoon form', red-faced.

I looked at her and said,"Mum, you took the meds 3 times a day instead of 2.  Now we know why you feel dizzy and tired, etc.  These prescription drugs that you insisted on taking have side-effects; and over-dosing on them does not and will not cure you.  Over-dosing can be fatal.  Had you followed doctors' orders, you would still have your meds to last you till September."

In February 2009, Christine and her two daughters, Katelyn and Carly travelled to Washington, D.C., for Capitol Hill Day. Both her girls have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

When the girls began showing signs of psoriasis, Christine and her husband had no idea what to think. Not only did they not know anyone with the disease, but their symptoms were severe. Doctors were hesitant to treat them with anything more than over-the-counter treatments. At the ages of 4 and 7, both girls began showing signs of psoriatic arthritis.

Like any mother, Christine wants her daughters to have the best quality of life possible and worries about the co-morbidities associated with psoriasis.

WHAT EXACTLY IS PSORIASIS?
