Powerful Reading Light Attaches to your Glasses

The Die Nachteule reading light from Germany's Meineeule is said to be the world's most powerful reading light. It's an LED light that attaches to your glasses and has the equivalent power of a 60 watt light bulb. The battery life is good for 40 hours of hardcore reading and it weighs only .28 ounces (8 grams for my metric readers- what's up?). The whole rig makes you look like a laser toting cyborg or something which is certainly cool. As for those who don't wear glasses- you could probably clip this right onto your eyebrow- it might hurt a bit but it would so be worth it for the light. No word on US availability just yet reading fans.

Novel Idea: Book Sensitive Reading Lamp
Novel idea (get it? novel?). The book sensitive reading lamp is a simple concept. When you turn it on, it's just like a regular reading light by your bedside that you can curl up with a good book to. When you're done reading and ready to go to sleep, just place the book open to your saved page on top of the lamp and it will turn off. So it's like a bookmark and a light in one. Yeah, it's a horrible way to store a book if you intend on keeping them long term, but it does the trick. Not compatible with your Kindle. So far it's just a design concept but it could be done.

When it's dark by your keyboard Mr. Brightside comes to the rescue. This flexible reading light plugs into the USB port on your laptop to give you a little bit of extra illumination. On the negative side, it's not really needed since the screen of the laptop already lights up the keyboard if it's not lit already but on the bright side (fyi: you know I really really really wanted to say "on the bright side") it's pretty cheap at $9 a pop or 3 for $20 and comes in a variety of fruit flavors.
