If we consider the history of the institution of marriage, all of us would agree that it started at the time of creation itself. Man and woman are different both biologically and in mental makeup. However, the creation would not continue if man and woman do not come together. The physical and emotional needs unite man and woman and marriages take place. Till the beginning of the twentieth century, joint families and lifetime single marriages were quite prevalent. Divorces were few and far in between. However, things started changing as more and more women took up careers and achieved financial independence. The dependence of women on men declined and even small disagreements were magnified to a large extent that they were considered to be impinging on the individuality. Let us consider the top 15 reasons why couples break up.

1. Desire to be independent.
2. Getting attracted to another person.
3. Infidelity.
4. Physical incompatibility.
5. Less attracted to the person in a sexual way.
6. Lack of proper body maintenance, like becoming too fat.
7. Conflict in tastes and desires.
8. Continuous nagging.
9. Comparing the man or woman to others constantly
10. Imparting unsolicited advice all the time
11. Addiction to alcohol or drugs
12. Deterioration in the health of one spouse or suffering from incurable ailments like HIV
13. Physical and mental abuse and exhibiting sadistic tendencies

The White house has decided that the best way to start off their feel-good bi-partisan health care bonanza was to accuse Republicans of not having a plan of their own. Doesn't really help the matter in the least, and, it's a lie.

The GOP has had a summary and a 219 page document outlining their alternative to the Democrats nearly 2,000 page monstrosity. I had read the original House bill in it's 1,100 pages of glory many months ago. It was to say the least, vague and full of services that were unnecessary, or incomprehensible to anyone but the most skilled linguist of mumbo-jumbo and gobbledygook.

White house spokesman Robert Gibbs and Dan Pfeiffer had this to say on the WH own website.

"The President believes strongly that Thursday's bipartisan meeting on health insurance reform will be most productive if both sides come to the table with a unified plan to start discussion - and if the public has the opportunity to inspect those proposals up close before the meeting happens.

That's why yesterday the White House posted online the President's proposal for bridging the differences between the Senate- and House-passed health insurance reform bills...

As we said today, we'll be happy to post the Republican plan on our website once they indicate to us which one we should post. We hope they won't pass up this opportunity to make their case to the American people."

Here is another bizarre news associated to Facebook. A old school teacher, Emma Jones committed suicide because her ex boyfriend put indecent photos of her on the social network. Emma was 24 years old and was a Greenwich University graduate. She was presently teaching 8 year old kids in an International School in Abu Dhabi.

Emma committed suicide by drinking poisonous cleaning fluid when she found that her ex boyfriend had put her photos on the social networking site. She was overtaken by fear and thought she would be charged of prostitution after a person working in the IT department of the school had also seen those pictures. Her fear was partly justified given that she was living in a strict Muslim country and more importantly she had been entrusted with job to teach young kids.

We aren’t sure what prompted her ex to actually go about doing such an act but one can imagine that it must have been a regular story; both partners not getting along with each other. Emma’s mother, MRs. Rowlands also reported the same that the two weren’t getting along. I am not sure why she didn’t try to leave the country and was afraid that she would be thrown in jail, she could have at least filed a case and tried to prove her innocence. I mean you can’t really take all the blame if someone else screws up with you. The investigation however reported something different as Emma had her passport in her pocket and her clothes were out to be packed most probably.
