Wonderful time in NYC!

I am back, and wow did we have a wonderful trip! We scheduled to do way to many things, so our “to do” list missed several key items that we were both very interested in doing (Today Show, NY Cheesecake, etc.) I some how deleted all of my pictures from day 2 of our trip, which included Canal Street, China Town, Ground Zero, all of the financial district, Fireman being pictured with the firemen at the firehouse right next to ground zero, etc. I’ve tried running several recovery programs, all of which find hundreds of pictures, but none have been recovered from Day 2 of our NYC trip. Besides that, here is a link to the photos from the first day of our trip (I’ll have to upload the rest of the pictures tomorrow, they are on Firemans laptop)!

Food wise I have been atrocious since about a week before Turks & Caicos all the way through last night. I had a few days here and there that have been on plan, but over all, I’ve been a mess with my food. I weighed in at 273.1 this morning, which means in the last month, I’ve gained 8.20 pounds. I really hate that it will take me two months to lose the weight that it only took me a few weeks to gain. I fairly disgusted with myself, and I’m really craving healthy food and getting back to a regular exercise schedule. What my body is craving, my body is going to get!

Today I’m starting my next EA Sports Active Wii Challenge. I will follow the program that they have set up of working out 2 days and taking 1 day off from the challenge. I plan on adding in workout DVD’s when I have time, and I am saving up to buy a bike after seeing how many of you are really enjoying yours! I have a grocery list set to use tonight, and am looking forward to lots of fresh fruit and veggies. My plan is to stick to the Filling Foods on WW as much as possible. I know that the Core Program is no longer in existence, but I want to try to stick to that as much as possible, while staying in my points range. I’ll post my final grocery list tomorrow for those of you who are interested.

I’ve also updated my side bar and track to reflect my current weight. While I’d love for it to still be in the 260’s that just not the reality. Man that sucks. I’m going to try to focus on goals that are 30 days at a time (with exception to my steps to labor day challenge!)

Tomorrow, I will post today’s photo food journal, I’ve already taken a picture of my breakfast oat bran. While it wont be entirely “Core” like because I don’t have the proper groceries yet, it will be within my points range. I am going to give tracking online a shot for this week. I feel like I really need to do something to mix things up. I have a history of losing weight and then getting bored with whatever program I am on. I need to make sure that doesn’t happen here.

I really have missed commenting and keeping up with everyone’s blogs. I look forward to getting caught up, seriously, I’ve missed ya’ll!
