What would “Health Care Reform” do for employment?
1. New federal payroll taxes. These taxes are paid partly by employers and partly by employees – at least in theory. They are all paid out of money earned by employees. They all increase the cost of employing people, thus are a disincentive to hiring. Taxes on “higher income earners” hurt all workers, through job losses or lower pay.
2. New state taxes. States will have to deal with unfunded mandates to handle greatly increased Medicaid enrollment. The federal government will pay a lot of this, but by no means all (except maybe in Nebraska?)
3. Employer penalties for not providing insurance coverage. Diana Furchtgott-Roth explains:

“Americans do not want a trillion-dollar government takeover of health care stuffed with tax hikes, Medicare cuts and giveaways to Washington special interests. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.” – House Republican Leader John Boehner (Ohio) [1]
As days roll on and election time draws nearer, some Democrats are increasingly concerned about supporting President Barack Obama’s health care plan, and still hoping to be reelected. Several, like Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) are raising objections about federal spending for abortion. Leftist House members don’t like the Senate bill because it contains no public option.
Democratic House members from conservative districts are beginning to see the handwriting on the wall that signifies forced retirement for those who support Obamacare. Not only do most Americans reject the proposed legislation itself, they also reject the unethical manner in which it has reached its current stage, and the heavy-handed method proposed for enacting it, reconciliation. This is strictly a partisan bill affecting virtually all Americans and a very large chunk of our economy. There is no public consensus for this type of legislation.

In spite of all the elitists’ dismissing of the Tea Party Movement, the liberals are going to awake to find that this movement has changed the political landscape of America. America is not Europe. Americans don’t accept European-style socialism, which is visibly failing, and they do not accept would-be dictators. President Barack Obama is likely to find his next three years fraught with political difficulty.
So far, the president has resisted public protests against his policies, which consist largely of liberty-destroying programs, massive spending, and vague talk of future deficit cutting, while planning even more big spending. The unemployment, deficit, or inflation figures will not stay this administration from their micro-managing, tax-and-spend, socialist-fascist agenda.

The Obama Tales
This Fairy Tale was created by a Pastor's wife (actual source unknown), and it depicts the chronology of events that lead us to today. On the one hand it is extremely funny, but in reality it is not!
And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of the land Called America , having lost their morals, their initiative, and their Will to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that Person known as "The One."
He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but He Hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you." My lack Of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my Association with evil doers are of no consequence. I shall save you With hope and Change. Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the Land that he who proceeded me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, And that all he has built must be destroyed. And the people rejoiced, For even though they knew not what "The One" would do, he had promised |

Citing ‘obscene’ bonuses, Obama to tax banks ‘We want our money back and we're going to get it,’ president says
Wow! I thought this administration had reached the pinnacle of arrogance; I admit it I was way wrong.
Obama wants his money back and he's gonna get it. Let me count the ways that pisses me off. First, I'm pretty sure not a penny of the money was his;. Second what money they do steal from the banks is not going to benefit the taxpayer in any way, shape or form; and finally it is not the business of the government to oversee the bonuses of any private industry.
I know your saying "but they took federal money". Oh, it gets better; read on my friend.
The following collection of nouns, verbs and inane drivel comes from MSNBC. You can check out the original crapfest here.

If you are looking for a job, no one needs to tell you that the American people, including employers, aren’t seeing much of a recovery from the recession. The “improvements” we’ve seen have been mostly from temporary government programs like “Cash for Clunkers” and various other government money going into the economy. Not really the stuff of healthy recovery. The following words from the Bureau of Labor Statistics give a brief description. Their web site gives more details:
“THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION -- DECEMBER 2009
“Nonfarm payroll employment edged down (-85,000) in December, and the unemployment rate was unchanged at 10.0 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Employment fell in construction, manufacturing, and wholesale trade, while temporary help services and health care added jobs.

Pelosi has to be from another planet. She is completely and utterly oblivious to the outrage brewing in America against the policies of the Obama administration its sycophants. She and others like her trudge forward as if they have some divine authority to act in a manner contrary to the will of the people. She treats the American public like a collection of morons who just don’t understand what’s best for them. I hope and pray that the voters of this country will turn these Marxists out on their collective asses come November.
In the meantime and in her infinite wisdom Pelosi is touting yet another idiotic plan. The following story comes from CNSNews.com:
Pelosi Endorses ‘Global’ Tax on Stocks, Bonds, and other Financial Transactions
( CNSNews.com) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) endorsed the idea of a “global” tax on stock trades and other financial transactions, saying the estimated $150 billion in annual revenue from such a tax could be used to help fund more stimulus spending.
