I was sitting in my dorm room watching the latest episode of How I Met Your Mother, which by the way was amazing, when my friend came in and asked if I could help him install a third-party Windows 7 Theme. Now I have never actually done it myself but it seemed easy enough. My friend explained the instructions seemed complicated but here's a dumb downed version that should be easy for the everyday computer to understand.

Step 1

Download Universal Theme Patcher and run the application that matches up with your operating system, either x86 (32 bit) or  x64 (64 bit). To check this go to Computer–>System Properties. Under the System heading will be your system type.

Once you run the correct version, you'll see a screen like this. Now manually patch all three files. A backup of each file will be made so don't worry if something goes wrong, you'll have the original files.

Already more than 2 weeks since I started my new WordPress blog, I wonder why there is not even a single comment in my blog.

Guess what happened? I have made a big mistake that can be easily avoided. My blog comments was actually not functioning and it would give the following error message when someone clicks the "Add Comment" button.

"ERROR: It looks like the website adminstrator hasn't activated the Brians Threaded Comments plugin from the plugin page".

I didn't realise this mistake until a friend of mine (Ryan), telling me about the error message he got every time he clicked the "Add Comment" button. This is the biggest blunder I have ever made in my blogging career. This blunder should not have happened and I should have this component tested in the first place.

While investigating the root cause, do you know what I found? When I read through the code in comments.php which is also part of current theme plugins, I found out that it actually required "Brians Threaded Comments" plugin to work properly. Oh my god! I do not have the comments plugin in my WordPress blog. Guess what! I have actually missed out copying the plugin when I was setting up this WordPress blog using Atomic Blogging 3.0 System.

I don't know if anyone remembers this theme. It was in use on my blog for...a month maybe. I made it because I liked the color scheme and I was going through a moment when I made it.

Google decided to provide themes as of firefox in which many of artistic themes are released .Initially google started with igoogle and gmail  now it decided to make chrome colorful with some of the initial themes will be created by famous artists. Immediately after Chrome's launch, many people started to create themes for the browser by editing the default.dll file, but the file is overwritten by the automatic updater and the format was changed in the latest releases.
