God must be crazy!

Put simply, the basic premise of the Abrahamic beliefs (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are as follows:

- God is just, kind, perfect
- This life is our first and last life
- God is testing us here
- Based on the marks we obtain in this test, we will go to either Heaven or Hell.

The differences between Judaism, Christianity and Islam lie only in
- the testing criteria and the description of Heaven and Hell
- the level of fanaticism required for passing this Test.

But the basic construct is same – One Life which is Test, God is best examiner, and Result is Pass (Heaven) or Fail (Hell) .

Let us evaluate this basic construct critically through a series of examples, and decide whether it is logically plausible.

1.
Many children die in the wombs. Now as per Islam or Christianity would they go to Heaven or Hell? Most scholars of Islam and Christianity say they go to Heaven because they never did anything wrong in their lives.

Now my question is “Did they even have an option to do anything wrong?”

Is God not being partial by clearing one candidate even without starting his examination, and another one has to keep giving test after test continuously for 100 years!

Why I am a Hindu

Humanities & CulturePeople

1. Because the word Hindu represents the wisdom of centuries that is distilled into our various ways of living that is characteristic of my motherland.

2. Because we all identify with the name Hindu for generations. It becomes a symbol of our unity.

3. Because under threat of various obvious and not-so-obvious forces that are bent on destroying our culture through corrupt means, we need to unite under one flag.

4. Because while we agree that name Hindu is not an eternal representative of our culture, and perhaps also disgracing, the time is not right to force any change. Because this will lead to confusion and we cannot afford that under current circumstances.

5. Because right now, we should focus on increasing our strength and potential so that we can be in a position where we can dictate the direction of politics and policies of our nation.

6. Because  once we are strong, we can always revert back to our original name in a planned manner. But currently, we are already weak due to backstabbing by those who promised to represent us. We have already suffered huge setbacks due to impotencies of those who were supposed to be brave defenders of truth. We are already debilitated from empty talks of our false leaders. Right now is the time to stand, unite and fight again..for truth and justice.

Nanyah Panthah Vidyate Anayaya
There is no other way!

WHO AM I?

WHERE DID I COME FROM?

WHERE WILL I GO?

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS LIFE?

Answers to these fundamental questions cannot be written in form of an essay, that you mug up and you are done! These need to be realized through all your senses and the master controller – the mind so that you grasp it fully. To talk in Vedic language. this entire life has the sole purpose of helping us seek answers to these fundamental questions, and through that achieve ultimate bliss.

To the uninitiated, the mere reference to these questions might increase the heart-beats, and even cause a sense of fear or depression. After  all we all admit that the entire human life and all our activities are in a way, an attempt to ignore this fear of death. Our mind rebels at the very thought of death – that everything shall end one day – no senses, no feelings, nothing…and forever! And yet we know that if there is one certain things about life, it is death. We tend to ignore this feeling, we tend to ignore our soul, when suddenly in middle of everything, it shouts that "one day this shall come to end.. a blank end!". We then distract ourselves, get busy in our career, activities, entertainment etc etc. We try to desensitize ourselves to these questions. But they still exist.
