Carriage Museum
As the name implies the museum is filled with lots of information about various carriages. The carriage lovers will simply love this place as it gives many valuable information about ancient Sweden design and evolution of new technology applied to the carriages. The displays made in the museum will simply make the carriage lovers crazy as it consist of unique designs and models. This craze has made the museum most popular tourist attraction of the city and several travelers gather here to collect valuable carriage information. Oresund Bridge
The main attraction of the city which links the corners of the city. The Oresund bridge is a rail track and four lane road bridge tunnel which was opened for traffic in July 2000.It is the longest link consisting of mixture of road and rail that connects the metropolitan area of Malmo namely Copenhagen and Swedish city. The bridge is the longest bridge of Europe and it is 8 kilomaters long and consist of artificially constructed island Pebeholem ranging about 4 kilometers. Thus the total length of the brigde is about 7845 meters and 82000 tonnes of volume.
Due to this bridge the Oresund area serves as the important areana in fields of growth and environment. The uniqueness of the bridge is thus not necessary to explain i think as such a long like connecting two countries will be simply breath taking. Thus the duration to reach the ends of the bridge is just 20 minutes and mode of transpost varies from trains, cars or by feet.
The major covering area of the bridge is the four pylons 240 meters above the sea and the best view can be seen from the
Lernacken, of Luftkastellet restuarant.As it connects the two different counties they both refer the bridge by name Oresundsborn or Øresundsbroen thus to solve the crisis the bridge company termed its name as Øresundsbron. The name itself represents the identity of the culture and citizens of the Oresund region. The construction began in the year 1995 and Denmark’s Queen Margrethe II and King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden officially inaugurated the bridge on 1st July 2000.
Torup Castle
The Malmo has many beautiful castle and monuments. The Torup castle if a place where you can gain huge amount of information about castle's history and facts. The castle is situated amidst a stunning park and 14 kilometers east of Malmo, is simply wonderful to look as the greenery surrounds the castle. The interior of the Torup castle is simply awesome and the rich collection of ancient artifacts and its displays are simply mind blowing and the walls decorated with vines laced bricks and the towers of the castle witness the uniqueness and the beauty of the castle.
Such a beautiful and valuable place is protected by covering the castle with fosse to prevent it from and attacks. The visitors can spend their leisure times by simple wandering in the lushy green parks and gather valuable information about the ancient artifacts.
Folkets Park
The oldest park Folkestis the fun filled and 100% satisfactory amusement park of Malmo. The park gives all you want for enjoyment and entertainment with its breathtaking rides and mouth liking cuisines of the restaurants.The park is wonderful and has many time spending attractions. The park was developed by the Social Democratic Association since 1982 earlier it was a working class and now its a people park.
The various means of entertainment provided in the park are the theater, dance hall, bath stand and many more. In the olden days it was the only means of entertainment for the people of Malmo and today its completely different. People of all ages can enjoy and spent their leisure time here as the park is filled with rides, theater and dance hall and also has collection of spiders,parrots,crocodiles monkeys, snakes,turtles,reptiles etc. Other animals like sheep ,horses,rabbits move freely inside the park and the kids can enjoy taking a ride in that.The main thing is that i charges nothing to visit the park.
