USB Think Light Makes You Think

This USB Think Light makes want to sit in my thinking chair and thiiiiiiiiiiiink, well it makes me think, why hell is there a USB lightbulb called the "Think Light". Who thought of that name? Then I think, hey it's on sale as the deal of the day at just £0.99 (like $2, maybe?) so it's not all that bad. Besides, the faster you type, the brighter the light gets. Sure, you could do a little Street Fighter style button mashing to brighten it up, but that's cheating, I think. Besides, when we use our minds and take a step at a time, we can do anything that we want to do.

It's a Ruler, It's a Flash Drive, Peace Out!

I guess I could have said this USB flash drive ruler really "measures up" or it holds "5 inches of data", or that it totally "rules", or that at $35 for 2GB of data that's $7 an inch, BUT NO I DID NOT. I held back, did not say these things and let the flash drive novelty speak for itself. A picture can say 1000 words and this time I let the picture do the talking. Peace out gadget fanatics!

Look Good, Store Data with a Comb USB Flash Drive

When you're living the geek life you've GOT to be looking good at all times. I mean let's face it, there's only a limited number of available geeky ladies at the various comic book and consumer electronics conventions that are not working there as booth babes. When you come across one of these fine ladies, you want to make sure your fro is in check boo. But you also need to carry around your important files. Well guess what? There's an app, err.. product (those commercials are catchy, right?) for that- the USB flash drive comb.
It's the $35 comb and 2GB flash drive you always needed but never knew existed. That seems like a lot of cash for these two items but maybe this is one of those cases where the combination of the two brings SO much more value than just having two separate products that they can charge a premium for it. A $30 premium. Not that I'm an expert on combs, but I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that this is not a high-end comb, whatever that means. And be careful about getting your hair grease into the flash drive! It's probably best to not use this comb with wet hair.

Pink Dolphin Bone USB Flash Drive Has a Large Dongle

Ahh look at that friendly dolphin. He's a USB flash drive. He can store up to 4 GB of data. He costs $29.95. He doesn't look like a drive at all. This little dolphin is completely encased in a removable water-resistant silicone jacket. You can string this dolphin drive up on a string and tie him to yourself so you never lose him.
Dolphins are curious and intelligent mammals. Oh look, the dolphin USB flash drive is swimming over to your computer. I think he's ready to transfer some data. Something's happening underneath his belly. Cover the kid's eyes. Oh no! That poor computer. He's getting a little bit too friendly. Oh no! The dolphin is MOUNTING THE COMPUTER:

USB Smart Locker Physically Locks Down Your USB Ports

The USB ports on your computer could be severe security risk since anyone with a flash drive can insert whatever nefarious program or USB device they want on your computer or copy your personal information to a USB drive. Well probably not in your own home, but if you have a publicly available computer at your place of business, this could be a problem. There are software solutions to prevent unauthorized programs from being installed on your computer but this is not foolproof.
Taiwan's Bestfon company sells the USB Smart Locker which physically locks your USB ports. The device is a two piece gadget- a lock and a smart key. The lock is a tiny USB dongle that fits entirely inside the USB port and prevents anything else from being inserted into the drive:

Enter and Ctrl Keys Card Reader

There seems to be an endless stream of reuses for keyboard keys but I don't think we've ever seen a USB card reader made out of them, so here we go. This four slot card reader uses the control and enter keys. The control key is just a cap for the USB plug. This reader supports a whole slew of formats including SDHC 2.0, SD, micro SDHC, microSD/T-flash, Sony M2, Memory Stick, and MS Duo. It supports Window Vista/XP/2000 and Mac OS. Pretty cool and it comes in dark blue or white.

Blinged Dalmatian USB Flash Drive

Dalmatians are the eighth best type of dog ever (I'll save my full list for another post but spoiler alert: Belgian Shepherds are the best). Everybody loves their cute spots and the way they just hang off the back of firetrucks, clinging to the ladder as the big red truck turns the corner just a little too fast and the ladder goes flying around. How could you not? This dalmation doesn't ave lives like a firehouse dog, he saves data.
