My blog was hacked today.  Somehow someone inserted a huge line of code into my blogs header which caused it to redirect to a bunch of stupid sites.  I wish I could redirect something right back at them that would blow up their damn computers while they’re busy hacking into someone’s private property.  These people make me insane!!!!!   I wasn’t aware of how much I didn’t know about these morons.  I didn’t know that hacker isn’t really an appropriate word for these #$$@^&*(), the appropriate term would be cracker.  Hackers break code for good and crackers break code for evil.   Here’s some info from a great site which helped me better understand the world of a hack or crack or whatever the heck they are. hackingalert.com

Personally I notified several bloggers this week that they’d been infected with this stupid lil click trash. yes it’s a click virus.

Man8.exe a worm which spreads via torrents, recently we faced this problem and we like to share how we recovered our PC from this virus/worm.

If you are using free anti-virus software to protect your system, some times free anti-virus software will not remove this kind of virus/worms. Man8.exe worm can be found in C:WINDOWS/system32/man8.exe

MAN8.EXE performs the following behavior in your system

• The Process is packed and/or encrypted using a software packing process
• Found on infected systems and resists interrogation by security products
• Checks for the use of debuggers
• Creates a new Background Service on the machine
• Looks at the contents of the autoexec.bat file
• Reads email address and phone book details
• Disables Anonymous Access to the Windows Network Shares
• Prevents Installation Of Windows XP Service Pack 2
• Disables the DCOM Ability within Windows
• Disables the Default Windows Network Shares
• Disables the built in Windows File Protection System
• Automatically changes your firewall settings to allow itself or other programs to communicate over the internet
• This process creates other processes on disk
• This Process Deletes Other Processes From Disk
• Violates Windows/Vista Physical Memory Protection allowing it to look inside the data areas of other programs
• Executes a Process
• Writes to another Process’s Virtual Memory (Process Hijacking)
• Creates a TCP port which listens and is available for communication initiated by other computers
• Makes outbound connections to other computers using NETBIOSOUT protocols

MAN8.EXE has been the subject of the following behavior

• Created as a new Background Service on the machine
• Copied to multiple locations on the system
• Deleted as a process from disk
• Executed as a Process
• Created as a process on disk
• Added as a Registry auto start to load Program on Boot up.

Solution

If you find any of the problem listed above, all you need to do is download any premium anti-virus software like kaspersky for trial period. Scan complete windows folders and hard drive, which will neutralize or deletes virus/worm from your PC.

These days, there really has been some amazing progress made when it comes to medicine, genetics and elsewhere in the fields of biology and other sciences. Still, we normally expect to read about these breakthroughs in medical journals or even in whatever local resources we use individually to get our news. There are in all six classes of viruses present. Out of them, the DNA virus comprises of the first two classes and the RNA virus makes up the remaining classes. The class III RNA virus features a double stranded RNA genome, class IV ha a single stranded RNA genome that acts as a messenger RNA. The class V has a single stranded RNA genome that is being utilized as a template for the synthesis of the messenger RNA. The class VI viruses are also single stranded genomes of RNA, along with the DNA intermediate in mRNA synthesis as well as replication.

1. Net-Worm.Win32.Kido.ih – Downloads computer files and blocks access to many legit websites.

2. Virus.Win32.Sality.aa – Installs itself and hides in program or data files. Blocks many websites, deletes PC files.

3. Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Flystud.ko – Keylogger tool used by hackers to break into a system and ultimately steal identity.

4. Trojan.Win32 .Autoit .ci – Tracks PC activity, including keystrokes and sends to hackers in order to steal personal info.

5. Trojan.JS.Agent.xy – Drive-by-download that has the ability to download spyware and viruses onto your PC.

6. Exploit.HTML.CodeBaseExec – Exploit that turns PCs into zombies, infecting other PCs in order to steal personal data.
